I shipped my car on the rail enclosed. Transit time was a little longer than an open carrier quote. The cost was very inexpensive. Service was great.

This place is a joke, go else where or you will be sorry, they don't pick up on time, they lie and they do not have their own trucks. They farm out to other trucking companies. We waited 4 days for them to pick up our car and then they did not show up on the fouth day. This company is lousy at customer service. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!

North American Auto Transport cannot and does not guarantee pick up or
delivery dates. We state in our contract and website we work within a 3-5
day window for pick up in case of delays such as weather, mechanical
problems or prior customer's who ask the driver to wait for their schedule.
We had spoke with the customer daily after the estimated pick up date was
delayed. Our driver was one state away on the fourth day and would pick up
on Saturday which we informed the customer. We try to meet all customers'
timing needs as best we can, but each carrier has 8-10 cars they must pick
up and deliver and their customers to work their schedules in to.

I ship my vehicle down to Florida twice a year and never had any problems. I am surprised to read the statements above. Stephanie is very understanding and they even drove me to my house after I dropped my car off for terminal to terminal service. I will use them again on my way back up.

I shipped my car on the rail enclosed. They do use another trucking company but they came and picked up the car as promised. However, today (24 days after pick up) I am still waiting for my car to be delivered. The estimated transit time is supposed to be 14 days. I've been calling Stephanie (customer service) every other day since the 14 days and she states that the car is at the destination terminal but nobody has called to deliver. By the way, the sales person will not discuss with you once the sale is made. I am very disappointed!!!

Firstly, North American Auto Transport would like to apologize for any
inconveniences caused by the delay of this transport. We do estimate the
enclosed rail to take about 2 weeks going across country. There was about a
week delay during transit as the rail had a security breach and the whole
train had to be stopped and thoroughly checked. Once the rail arrived in
California, it was at the terminal for an additional 4 days as the delay had
caused a back up with deliveries. Mr. Tan was able to speak with a customer
service representative everytime he called in. We have separate departments
here and the sale representatives do not have driver/ rail information. Mr.
Tan's sales representative would not have known there was a delay as his
order had passed through dispatching and was in customer service.

Do not use this company. They promised a Sept 8th pickup and Sept 24th enclosed Amtrak delivery, but have not picked up the pickup truck as of the 15th and repeated calls to customer service have gone nowhere. I would never use them again, and can only image what it will take to get my $200 deposit back, when, and if, I must use someone else. Instead of a credit card deposit, they require a bank phone draft. Undoubtedly this money represented their commission as the balance it to be paid to the driver who delivers the vehicle, and that must be cash or bank draft. No customer service, no returned calls, no email communication....nothing but excuses. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

This vehicle was not safe to put on the rail. Our dealership truck, which
this was put on, was delayed with mechanical problems and we were not able
to meet Mr. Hussey's timing needs. As we did not meet our goal, we refunded
Mr. Hussey $350 to compensate for the delayed delivery.

Warning! Do not use this company. They promised 7 to 10 days and it has been 11 days and now they are telling us another 10 before delivery . They don't return calls, the saleman does not stand by what he promised. Very shady operation. We are worried that our car will never make it to California!!!!!!!

The customers requested the enclosed rail service. As advertised on our
website and by our sales representatives, the train takes about 2 weeks. The
rail was delayed which caused delivery to be about 3 weeks instead of 2. We
spoke with one member from the Costa family at least every other day,
sometimes twice a day for the first 8 days their car was in transit.
Afterwards, our customer service rep, Marina offered to send Mr. Costa
emails weekly with updates of delivery. We normally only speak with one
person per order as the odds of miscommunication is greater.

They were completely unreliable and screwed me over on multiple times. Furthermore, they refused to refund the $150 deposit despite their multiple mistakes. I would recommend autolog over this useless company.

North American Auto Transport cannot guarantee pick up or delivery dates.
Our driver was having mechanical problems in New England and attempted to
get to Mr. Cannon's vehicle as soon as possible. Mr. Cannon was leaving out
of town and was willing to leave his vehicle with family or friends while
our truck was down. Unforeseen delays with parts and repairs for our
driver's truck caused a non definitive pick up date; however we informed Mr.
Cannon we would have it picked up within 5 days. On the 5th day, my driver,
Paul, spoke with the customer at pick up who informed him the car was not
there. My driver lost a spot on his truck as well as fuel to change his
route which we take as a cancellation fee. Most times, the deposit covers
it.

DON'T use this company!!!!Over 2 weeks late on pickup and asaked for more money 2 weeks after pickup date. They are full of BS big time.

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY! They DO NOT pick up your car on time, if at all. They will make excused to try to get more money from you. They will also keep your deposit even if they do not hold up their end of the deal. Everyone at the "company" had a different story and everyone lies. It is almost funny to talk to these people because they lie and make excuses. DON'T USE THEM!!!

THIS COMPANY IS A TOTAL JOKE! They make promises they have no intention of keeping whatsoever. If you challenge or question them in any way, they go off on you over the phone. They also claim they transport military vehicles, but I am not sure that this is the truth with the kind of business practices that I have experienced. The car is still sitting in the driveway. I have waited day after day waiting for it to be picked up as promised .
My nephew who is now in Hawaii booked a pick up of the vehicle (after making $100 deposit which I am told is non-refundable) from Portland, Oregon to Matson shipping lines going to Hawaii from Seattle.He is now also listening to a pack of excuses two weeks later, and the ship has sailed without the car. They tell us daily that the car will be picked up STILL!.
I THINK THAT THIS COMPANY IS SOME SORT OF SCAM THAT NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!

I am surprised to see the remarks on this site. I have shipped at least 25 cars with North American as a business owner and find them to be very reliable compared to most of the other companies I have dealt with over the years. Boo Hoo, the company has threatened me with legal action today for telling the truth as I see it on this site, using my e-mail address listed here to write me!
Same BS, different day, they didnt show up again without letting us know what is going on...the roads have been clear for the three hour trip to Seattle until late yesterday.I have friends who have been hauling boats regularly on the west coast with no problem according to their dispatcher.

This was the worst business experience I have ever had. My car took 31 days to get from MA to CA after a 20 day promise. North American either lied to me or didn't know where my car was. I called to verify delivery before flying to CA and was told that it would be there. When I got to CA I found out the car was still in New Jersey. I tried to get reimbursement for my rental car expenses and was denied through Autolog because I didn't have guaranteed arrival insurance which was never offered. I am considering legal action against this company.

We were very disaoppointed with this company, it has been two weeks since our car has still not arrived. They told us a week ago the car had already delivered... WHAT! so now we found out the truck that picked our car up decided not to deliver the car and we had to wait for the next truck. They told me a few days ago my car would arrive on saturday or sunday with a twenty-four hour notice. It is two o'clock on saturday and I still have not recieved a call. Also, the company refused to let me speak with a manager. My husband and I are strongly considering legal action.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They brag about how they are a huge company dealing with Military and George Bush... yet they can't do ANYTHING. They are retarded.. can't do math.. umm 3-5 day window from July 5 pick up does not include 13 days later. I cannot believe I didn't research this company. HORRIBLE. The company is a scam. Stephanie reassured me they wouldn't cash the check as a deposit until my car was picked up. Our cars were never picked up after the driver called me directly 3 days after the pick up date to tell me his rig broke down and if I could get the cars to where his trailer was and if I couldn't maybe he could call another drivers ex wife who could help but she has had medical conditions! Can you believe it?! I couldn't believe I was listening to this on the phone while my brother in law was waiting for them to come get the cars after we had already moved out of state. Unbelieveable...what a joke. I will get my money if I have to take them to small claims court.

This company is a horror to work with. Everything they told us was a lie. The pick-up was late, the delivery was VERY late & all they do is LIE & tell you what you want to hear rather than the truth. Customer service is a joke. If you call customer service it goes straight to voicemail & no one calls you back. The only extension they answer is the "new reservations" line because they JUST WANT YOUR MONEY! (Did I mention how many times they HUNG UP ON ME when I was trying to get answers about where my car was?!! Nice.) TRUST ME... DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

this company is horrible they took 8 weeks to ship my cars my truck had 600 miles added and needed 1900 in repair and my benz had 340 miles added and they used bad gas in it even though they never should have driven them at all., my jeep had its license plates stolen and the car was full of food wrappers, they refused to answer to the Better Business Bureau, they told me my car was stuck in a snowstorm in Colorado while it was being driven illegally in Brooklyn NY these people are liars and are shameless use them at great peril.
